1. Overview

Wakete is a tool for sorting the photo library on your device with swipe gestures. The developer does not collect or sell the content of your photos. On the free plan, the app may display third-party ads (see below), in which case the ad provider's services may process technical information.

2. Data stored on your device

The app does not require account registration. Your photos themselves are never sent to the developer's own servers (regarding ad delivery, see "4. Advertising").

Reading, favoriting, hiding, deleting, and adding to / removing from albums for photos and videos are performed through Apple's Photos framework against the content on your device (and your iCloud Photos). They do not go through the developer's servers.

3. Access to your photo library

The app requests read/write permission to your photo library in order to sort your photos.
If you grant "Selected Photos" only, the photos and albums that can be shown may be limited.
You can change the permission at any time from iOS Settings.

4. Advertising

On the free plan, the app may display ads inside the app. If you use Wakete Pro (a one-time paid purchase), no ads are shown.

Ads are delivered using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
The app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy declares that device identifiers and advertising data may be processed for third-party advertising purposes in connection with showing ads (no tracking via ATT is performed). The privacy manifest bundled with the Google Mobile Ads SDK is also aggregated into the App Privacy Report.
Examples of ad placements: a banner during sorting, a banner during comparison sorting, a banner on the completion screen, and a full-screen ad after a session completes (frequency is throttled by the app).
The content of your photos and videos is never sent to Google or advertisers for ad delivery.
To display and deliver ads, Google's SDK may obtain and process technical information about your device (for example, IP address, device information, and advertising identifiers). For details, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about advertising.
The developer does not sell information obtained through advertising.

5. External transmission and tracking

The app does not send your photos or settings data to the developer's own servers.
App Store purchase processing (including Wakete Pro) is provided by Apple's services.
For ad delivery, technical information may be sent to Google's services as described in "4. Advertising".
The developer does not perform tracking (the kind of cross-app/cross-website tracking that App Tracking Transparency asks about) to follow you across other companies' apps or websites.
The developer does not use its own analytics SDK.

6. Sharing

When you use the share sheet, the photos and videos you select are passed to the app you choose yourself (Messages, Mail, a file destination, and so on). They do not go through the developer's servers.

7. Deleting data

Delete actions in the app are reflected in your device / iCloud photo library just like the Photos app (following iOS behavior such as "Recently Deleted").
If you remove the app from your device, the app's settings and history stored on that device are, in principle, also deleted.

8. Children

The app is not directed at a specific age group, but if a person under 13 uses it, please do so with the consent of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page and, where necessary, provide notice within the app.
